Indonesia Shines at SEA Games 2025 with Strong Medal Haul

Indonesia closed the SEA Games 2025 in Thailand with one of its strongest performances in recent history, finishing second in the overall medal standings and bringing home a stunning array of medals from across the region’s biggest sporting event. Other sports where Indonesia claimed titles or top finishes included panahan (archery), dragon boat, pencak silat, and triathlon, highlighting the depth of talent across a wide range of events. This year’s SEA Games marked a significant milestone for Indonesian sports, demonstrating competitive depth beyond traditional strongholds like badminton and pencak silat. The strong finish also reflects improved athletic development and strategic preparation by national coaches and federations.
