Traffic Chaos as Road Repair Triggers Stop-and-Go System

Cisoka, Tangerang – On May 6, 2025, road repairs along the Cisoka-Adiyasa route led to severe traffic congestion due to the implementation of a stop-and-go system. The method, intended to allow alternating one-way traffic during the construction, ended up causing long vehicle lines and frustrating delays for drivers.

Many commuters reported being stuck in traffic for up to 30–40 minutes, especially during morning and evening rush hours. There were no visible traffic officers or warning signs to guide drivers, leaving most of them confused and stressed. The road is undergoing repair after being heavily damaged by constant use from overloaded trucks. However, while the intention behind the repair is positive, poor planning in traffic flow management has caused inconvenience to hundreds of residents who rely on the route daily.
